ActiveFX™ is a new, less invasive version of traditional, fully ablative skin resurfacing. Carbon dioxide (CO2) laser resurfacing is considered the gold standard for reducing lines, wrinkles, tightening collagen, and reducing pigmentation. The difference is that the ActiveFX™ is fractionated. Fractionation allows for only a small portion of the skin's surface to be treated by the laser leaving small bridges of skin intact. It is precisely these small bridges that make the healing process much faster and makes the procedure safer enabling you to get back to your activities sooner. Each pulse vaporizes and heats a column of tissue which ultimately results in removal of brown spots and creation of a zone of heating deep in the tissue. This zone of heating helps to stimulate collagen, reduce wrinkles and fine lines, improve pore texture and size, and tighten the skin.
DeepFX™ is similar to ActiveFX™ in that it delivers fractionated beams of energy; however, it specifically targets the deeper dermal layers of the skin. This stimulates a cascade of healing responses that leads to tissue regeneration and new collagen formation. It is primarily for deeper wrinkles, folds, and acne scars. It produces dramatic results in skin tone and texture.

What You Can Expect
Patients can expect excellent, long-lasting results that begin to appear during the first week following treatment. This procedure is performed in the office with a topical numbing cream, and there is little to moderate discomfort with the procedure. The treatment process is brief and patients should expect about five days of "down-time", after which they should be able to return to normal daily activities. Most patients will endure side effects such as redness, swelling, crusting, and peeling, typically lasting a week. Results are seen right away with improvement of fine lines, elimination of pigmentation, pore size reduction and skin tightening. However, new collagen formation continues to develop for up to six months after treatment. Smooth, youthful skin and other benefits that result from this laser skin resurfacing can last for many years.
 LATISSE™ (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution) 0.03%– the first and only treatment approved by the FDA indicated to treat hypotrichosis of the eyelashes by increasing their growth including length, thickness and darkness. Eyelash hypotrichosis is another name for having inadequate or not enough eyelashes.

BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dysport™ are both proteins commonly used to reduce or eliminate the appearance of facial wrinkles. It is injected under the skin into areas surrounding the eyes, forehead and mouth to smooth crow's feet, frown and worry lines, lip pursing lines, and lines on the neck. Our office can provide either treatment based on a plan customized for each patient’s particular needs and goals.
BOTOX® and Dysport™ injections block nerve impulses, weakening muscles to relax wrinkles and give the face a rejuvenated look. BOTOX® or Dysport™ may also be useful for migraine headaches, excessive sweating, and eye and neck muscle spasms, and many other condition.
 Chemical peels remove damaged outer layers of skin on the face to smooth texture, reduce scarring, and remove blemishes and pre-cancerous growths to produce healthy, glowing skin. There are three types of chemical peels, ranging from mild to strong – alphahydroxy acids (AHAs), trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and phenol – and formula strengths are tailored to each patient. Peels can be combined with other procedures such as facelifts for a younger look.
Jessner’s is a mild peel formula that smooths texture, reduces scarring, and removes blemishes to produce healthy, glowing skin on the face, neck, hands and chest.
Spider veins, or telangiectasias, are small, thin, blood vessels visible beneath the skin. They appear most commonly on the face and legs and may look like a series of lines, tree branches, or a spider- or web-like shape with a dark center. It is estimated that they affect nearly half of adult women in the U.S.
Spider veins are caused by a variety of factors, including heredity, pregnancy (and other conditions that involve changes in hormone levels), weight gain, long periods of standing, and certain medications. They often appear red or blue, and because they form on the face, thighs, calves and ankles, many patients are bothered by the way they look. Others seek medical treatment for uncomfortable symptoms such as aching, burning, swelling and cramping.
Restylane® is designed to smooth wrinkles, sculpt lips and shape facial contours. It is a clear transparent gel composed of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that is found throughout your body. This acid is not of animal or human origin, which means that there is no risk of allergic reaction. The most common areas for a Restylane® treatment are the glabellar lines (between the eyebrows) and the nasolabial folds (from the root of the nose to the angle of your mouth). With its unique ability to bind with water, Restylane® remains in your skin for many months.
Sculptra™ is a new product which has been specially developed to help the body to "fill-in" the lines, wrinkles and depressions which develop naturally over the years. Sculptra™ is a polyl-L-lactic acid, which helps to stimulate the body's own production of collagen within the line or wrinkle, making the skin appear smoother and firmer.
Treatment results lasted up to two years in clinical trials. Possible side effects include those associated with any injection (bleeding, tenderness, redness, bruising or swelling) as well as the appearance of small bumps beneath the skin.
LightSheer™, made by Lumenis™, is a diode laser and is considered the industry “gold standard” in achieving permanent hair reduction. This system is specially designed to remove unwanted hair faster, with less discomfort and more reliably than other methods. The LightSheer laser works on a range of hair colors and all skin types. LightSheer is appropriate for treating even the largest areas of the body both quickly and effectively.

IPL technology, also known as a Photo-Facial, can successfully treat brown spots, photo-aging, face veins, redness and brown mottled pigmentation on the face, neck, chest, arms, hands, rosacea and pre-cancers such as actinic keratosis.
